For this project we were very organised before starting our filming, we had our storyboard and the idea of what we were trying to film. However we did change the script as all of us didnt think it was the best script to suit our shooting that we wanted to achieve.
For the first shot we were trying to do we were going to use the lamp post and a figure under it but when we tried to shoot this the camera couldn't pick up an image so we had to rethink and redo the first shot, therefore we had to change parts of the orginal storyboard we draw out to the one we have now. We managed to get the shots that we wanted to achieve in our project. In the kitchen scene there was problems with picking up extra sound that we didnt want, as we wanted the scene to be quite silent to build up suspence but the background noises runied this effect. I think the follow shot we were trying to do as we did this shot freehand the shot was shaky if we did this again we would have to stable the camera using the tripod. The best shot i think we did, was the low angled shot of sarah with the mask on walking into the room by doing this is made the character seem more sinister and scary making them look powerful, i filmed this shot by lying on the floor and pointing the camera up towards the ceiling. In our clip I think we did the continuity well and made all the shots that we had flow together without any cuts or stops in the final edit.
We thought the song that we chose (Enter Shikari-No Sleep Tonight) fitted the theme and atmosphere the clip we were trying to portray across.
We got our shots done quickly as we knew what we were doing, and knowing the shots that we wanted to get, we did try different angles and movements to see what the best type of shot would put across the scene better. All the shots we used seem to give the impression of erriness and the genre of a horror.
